Family Support Services
Simone Ragland is a Licensed Social Worker, administrator and educator with over 20 years of experience delivering support services to individuals and families in Buffalo. In her decade of work in a Science and Technology Enrichment Program, she focused on students who were historically underrepresented in STEM and healthcare, helping to provide greater opportunities with the goal of closing achievement and equity gaps.
Simone is passionate about education, empowerment, engagement and support for children and families, as well as increasing diversity and inclusion in the rapidly growing careers in STEM and healthcare. We are very excited to have her as part of our team!
Services include Science Technology Engineering Math (STEM) education, experiential learning and exposure to STEM careers, STEM college majors, and opportunities to develop science and math proficiency, technical skills, critical thinking skills, problem-solving skills, leadership, communication, and cooperation skills. These services are specifically targeting students in grades K-8.
